I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Wayne Ferrell, of Architect One. Mr. Ferrell and I have worked together on many projects and I can say with great conviction that he is the best architect I have worked with over the past several years. Without hesitation I would recommend Mr. Ferrell and his firm for any project.

Mr. Ferrell and his firm (Architect One) can handle any project with the care and attention of a family owner business. When you call they “know about your project” and can answer your question and never tell you “I will get back to you”. This care and attention his firm delivers is what you want on your project. They handle large and small projects as well as commercial and residential projects.

Where Mr. Ferrell sets himself apart is with a thorough set of plans. As a General Contractor we need to submit for permit and have the permit issued quickly. Architect One puts the time into the plans, has all the details, draws per building code and receives minimal comments from the plan reviewers at the building department. Upon receiving the notes, they answer them quickly.

I have worked with other architects that are quicker and sometimes cheaper but they never deliver the quality set of prints in the timeliness that Wayne does. As the saying goes “you get what you pay for” he is worth every dollar.

Thank you for your message via yahoo (2/15/2006). I recall your sister very well. She and a cohort did a great presentation to get national designation for my bazaar international. It was set for Florida to forward to Washington. Florida Power and Light learned of the application and used their political power (considerable) to have governor Bob Graham NOT forward the nomination to our capitol in D.C. F.P.L. wanted to demolish the tower so an approach to their riviera beach plant could be made from U.S. #1. This was all done in the name of progress.

Isn’t it gratifying to be an architect? To earn your keep doing what you love to do. We are a fortunate brotherhood. The photographs you sent me demonstrate your devotion to the cause. your mentors are our university were the best anywhere. Bob Broward is my good friend. I took my class to visit him, his continuing work is a revelation.

I know the “friends of Kebyar”. They are a live bunch. It seems likely that two books on my activities will soon be published. One is by Randolph Henning and the second is my autobiography.

The money raised from this event will benefit hundreds of families in Broward County area with neuromuscular diseases.
